My visit to the CWHM

I visited the CWHM after my visit with George Stewart in September last year.

At that time I did not know the first time he flew an airplane was on a Gypsy Moth then that he trained on an Avro Anson. I did not know either he was to be a guest speaker at the CWHM on Rememberance Day 2011.

Well you learn every day don’t you.

Now here are a few pictures of my visit at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.

I would just like to share them with you.

Enjoy…, but make a plan to visit the museum sometime.

    1. Écris-moi.

  1. Hi there,
Those are some great photos you took! This place had to be my favorite to go to on field trips as a kid. It’s really a shame I haven’t been in so long. But I do have a trip planned in. The very near future.
That Cessna, number 7862, was flown by my great-grandfather, Kenneth Knight, to train pilots during WWII.
Thank you so much for the pictures. Totally put a smile back on my face.
